Dave has served on the frontlines of game development for almost fifteen years. He has spearheaded character and environment concepts for outfits such as Acclaim , Activision, Z-Axis And Crystal Dynamics. Confronting daunting tasks and merciless deadlines He conducted environment surfacing operations deep in enemy held territory. Creating multi layered textures he detailed the worlds of Legacy of Kain - Soul Reaver, Dave Mirra BMX, Iron Man, X-men 3 and Shrek. He created character and environment concepts for 3D models and helped illustrate character motion for animators in need of creative reinforcement.
This battle hardened veteren of countless campaigns and vicious
development cycles was violently thrust into the cauldron of cinematic storyboard tasks on operation X3. Surviving unscathed, He transfered to the Shaba games front to help out with the Shrek3 operation. He adapted quickly to the transition and was soon providing concept and texture support for the beleagured Ogre.
Recently He's been working through the trenches of the downloadable games and application front. developing for outfits such as GraphicsLab2 and Namco Networks, Dave processed print comics into vectorized formats for digital publishing, created gamescreens and conceptual content for PC games. Dave also developed UI and particle animation for various PC games.
These days the old warrior can be found sharpening his pencils and planning new offensives. Conducting mercenary operations from his fortified bunker in the shadow of 'El Toro'. He builds a new army of courageous artists, teaching all he knows to the young recruits.
Prepare yourselves for the onslaught.
